About Me
I was born and grew up in Yixing (Jiangsu, China), a beautiful town recognized for its traditional Chinese purple-sand teapots. After 15 years, I went west to Hefei, a rapidly growing industrial city in mid-eastern China, for undergrad and master-level study. Then, I flew over 10,000 km to the opposite side of the pond and landed in Los Angeles. After five years, I completed my Ph.D. degree in Irvine, a Southern California city blessed with sunshine and ocean breezes, studying nature-inspired materials and technologies in Gorodetsky group. Now, I am a postdoctoral research fellow in Prof. Zhenan Bao's group at Stanford University to develop next-generation robotic skin.
